The Flood Based Livelihoods Network recently published two new Practical Notes, based on the ongoing work under the Newarbi Project in Balochistan and Sindh, Pakistan.
Practical Note 40 focusses on the ‘usage of wild trees on private farm land in spate irrigated areas’ and can be downloaded here.
Practical Note 41 focusses on ‘local vegetable production in spate irrigated areas, experiences from The Kachi Plain flood irrigated system in Pakistan’. The Practical Note can be downloaded here.
