Dear Spate Friends, The Marib Dam, as many of you may know, is the oldest surviving spate irrigation structure. This proud heritage in central Yemen is the prime reminder of the era of Queen of Sheba – serving this ancient empire with spate irrigation. Here is an urgent call. On 31 May the Marib Dam
