Description: Rain water harvesting with tanks and ponds is one option to increase water availability and agricultural production at the household level. This experiment was designed to explore different lining materials that can improve storage efficiency of small household rainwater harvesting ponds. The experiment was conducted at Adet agricultural research center on two sets with luvisols and Vertisols, the two dominant soil types in the research farm between 2009 and 2011.
