Description: Designs by the Water Resources Research Institute (Pakistan) on improved field to field structures and field inlets. These designs introduced on pilot base in DI Khan and DG Khan were very popular an particularly the field inlets were copied by farmers, as they solved a major problem (i.e. who prevent water from flowing out of the inlet after irrigation). The field to field structures prevented uncontrolled field scour and damage to downstream fields.
